ECE-STORAGE shortlisted for IMHX Design 4 Safety Award

 

The IMHX Design 4 Safety Awards have been created to emphasise the importance of health and safety across all materials handling and logistics disciplines. Organised by IMHX owners BITA (the British Industrial Truck Association) and Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions Ltd. to highlight the importance of product design in improving safety standards, the IMHX Design 4 Safety Awards formed a focal point at IMHX 2010.

The high dynamic channel storage warehouse ECE-STORAGE has been shortlisted within the Automation Category for its innovative design and safety features. Among the top three entries, the ECE-STORAGE combines safety and easy maintenance in an Automated Highbay Warehouse. Due to its walk able trolley aisle in each level Maintenance personnel is not exposed to great heights and can easily access each level via an elevator. The trolley aisle has meshed flooring with maintenance bays in each level to carry out routine maintenance on „floor level“.
