Standardisation of components

According to the customer's requirement to use standardised components throughout the entire factory, the controllers were replaced with Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 (CPU-314). The standardisation considerably contributes to the profitability of the plant and simplifies spare parts management.

 

Simplified parameterisation and operation

The operation of the plant was considerably facilitated by the sophisticated operating concept of BT-Anlagenbau. A centralised visualisation and control of processes only became possible thanks to the new control system. Reduced staff costs and a minimisation of downtimes are only a few of the many positive effects!

 

Integration into the existing infrastructure

Based on the many years of experience gathered by BT-Anlagenbau with SIMATIC controllers and the expertise of our employees, the existing infrastructure was optimally used and combined with the new controllers.

 

Central data acquisition

Operating hours, production-relevant measured values and production quantities were centrally stored in a database and can be retrieved in optimised form as a list or diagram.

 

Planning and project design

The production processes of the company were analysed in view of economics (costs, finances), ecology (consumption of resources, emissions) and food safety.

BT-Anlagenbau prepared process models and factors relevant to economics, ecology and food safety were allocated to the process steps and products.

We established which aspects of the core processes influence the sustainability of the company. Economic and ecological aspects and the evaluation of food safety and quality were analysed and assessed in light of corporate sustainability.
