No matter whether you upgrade from S5 to S7 in the scope of a modernisation process or as a result of an extension of your system – BT-Anlagenbau guarantees that your system will be back in full operation and with state of the art technology within no time. Fitness for the future, increased performance, centralised control options, optimal data acquisition and optimised spare-parts management are only some reasons for upgrading from S5 to S7!
The following examples give a representative idea of some upgrades from SIMATIC 5 to SIMATIC 7 performed by us.
Thanks to the upgrading of the purification plant from SIMATIC S5-115U to SIMATIC S7-300 by BT-Anlagenbau, it was possible to achieve a performance increase from 16,000 p.e. to 22,000 p.e.!
In addition to being future-proof, the new control system allows for considerable improvements in automation and in the acquisition of measured data!
In order to obtain an increase in capacity of 15% with consistent sorting quality, BT-Anlagenbau replaces existing control hardware, including mimic diagram, with a high-performance control system and functional visualisation.
In addition, a freely programmable maintenance protocol was installed for all drives as well as a remote maintenance system and an additional observation station in the office of the works manager.
In order to ensure the trouble-free operation and fitness for the future of a renowned cheese dairy, BT-Anlagenbau, as a SIMATIC expert, was commissioned with upgrading all controllers from S5 to S7!
The operation of the plant was considerably facilitated by the sophisticated operating concept of BT-Anlagenbau. A centralised visualisation and control of processes only became possible thanks to the new control system. This helped achieve reduced staff costs and minimised downtimes.
BT-Anlagenbau was commissioned with the modernisation of a pallet handling system with the aim of obtaining a damage- and trouble-free transport of the goods.
The replacement of the direct drives with SEW frequency inverters allows for smooth and thus trouble-free starting and stopping of the goods. The upgrading of the SIMATIC S7 control units enabled a comprehensive, central data acquisition to be connected to the existing control system via Ethernet.
